  • DWC Kids meets on Sunday mornings. Classes are available for infants through 12 years old. Children are currently working through The Gospel Project, a chronological Christ-centered curriculum.

Sports Ministries

The Upward Sports Mission is to Promote the Discovery of Jesus Through Sports. Our DWC program is designed to be family friendly. It not only teaches individuals to become great athletes who play with passion, but also athletes who play with purpose. Our goal is that everyone involved might develop a relationship with Jesus Christ to become the mentally, physically, spiritually and socially strong/whole individual God created them to be.

  • We offer youth co-ed flag football and cheerleading right here at DWC. Practices are held on the same day each week and typically last 1.5 hours. Games are played right on our very own football field located behind the Nash Center Gymnasium.

    2026 Fall Flag Football and Cheerleading registration is now open.

  • DWC Upward Basketball and Cheerleading occur during the winter months at DWC. Registration typically opens in the fall. Follow this link or click on the Sports Ministries Tab for more information.

    Program information:
    Our youth Upward Basketball and Cheerleading program is offered to youth in Kindergarten-8th grade.

  • Open gym typically begins in October and runs through December every Thursday from 7:00PM-9:00PM in the Nash Center.

    Men, ages 18+ are welcome to participate in our men’s basketball open gym and league at DWC.
